These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Yassine Malti ("we", "us") for LLMs TXT, a Shopify app that publishes an llms.txt file from your real store links and checks that your sitemap is reachable, and for this website.
By installing or using LLMs TXT, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use LLMs TXT for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business.
The service
LLMs TXT can build an llms.txt file from policies, pages, collections, and products you select, check that your sitemap is reachable, and update the file on a schedule. It does not invent URLs and it does not replace sitemap.xml. Plans, limits, and features can change. We may add, change, or remove a feature, or pause the service for maintenance.
Who may use LLMs TXT
- You are at least 18, or the age of majority where you live
- You have a Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it
- You will follow these terms and the laws that apply to your store
Your store and your content
You keep ownership of your pages, products, and policies. You allow us to access, process, and store that material only to provide and support LLMs TXT, including publishing the file you asked for. You are responsible for the summary and for the claims on your store.
A summary can be incomplete or poorly worded. LLMs TXT does not promise that search engines or AI systems will read the file, or that you will gain traffic or sales.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or infringe someone else's rights, with content you publish through LLMs TXT
- Use images or other material you do not have the right to use
- Try to break, probe, or overload the app or the systems that run it
- Resell or share access to the app, except as part of operating your own store
- Misuse credits, referrals, or billing
- Use the app to create unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content
Plans, credits, and billing
LLMs TXT is free to install and free to use. If a paid plan is offered later, the price will be shown in the app and on the Shopify App Store, and Shopify will bill your store in USD. Except where the law says otherwise, fees are not refundable after a billing period has started.
Third-party services
LLMs TXT depends on Shopify and uses OpenAI when you ask for a summary. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their outages or decisions. See the Shopify Terms of Service for Shopify's rules.
Our intellectual property
We own LLMs TXT, including its software, design, and name. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for your Shopify store while you follow these terms. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Disclaimers
LLMs TXT is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated content will be accurate or original.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims related to LLMs TXT in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for LLMs TXT in that period, or 100 USD, whichever is greater. Some regions do not allow these limits. Where they do not, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Indemnity
You will cover us against claims that arise from your store content, your use of LLMs TXT, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent a claim is caused by our own misconduct.
Ending access
You may uninstall LLMs TXT at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the app. We will give notice when that is reasonable. Sections that should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, stay in effect.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date at the top. If you keep using LLMs TXT, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts in Ottawa, Ontario, are the exclusive venue, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
