Why does it say the file is not ready?
The run has not stored a preview yet, or you opened the task before it completed.

Refresh after the status is completed. If it failed, the error replaces the preview. If it is scheduled, there is no file yet on purpose.
Short answer
- Refresh History
- Open the completed task
- Read the error if it failed
Also make sure a section was checked. All boxes off leaves little to publish.
