Write the summary in the language you want the opening quote to use.

The app interface can be in one of 12 languages. The summary itself is your text. If you want the quote in French, write the summary in French. Do not rely on the prompt to say write this in French as a substitute for a real summary.

Your words

  • The interface language does not rewrite your summary
  • Write the summary in the store's language
  • The prompt should talk about emphasis, not about translating
  • Product and page titles stay in the language Shopify stores them

Titles of pages and products are taken from Shopify. The summary is the part you write yourself.
