Should I send llms.txt to Google instead of the sitemap?
No. Keep the sitemap for search. llms.txt does not take that job.

The app will not delete or replace sitemap.xml. Use both: the sitemap for the full URL list, the new file as a short index.
Short answer
- Keep sitemap.xml
- Do not redirect it
- Use llms.txt as a reading list
A healthy sitemap check is a bonus, not a ranking report.
