Should I turn the sitemap checkbox on?
Turn it on if you want llms.txt to point at the full sitemap. Turn it off if this file should only list the sections you checked.

Either choice leaves sitemap.xml itself alone.
Short answer
- On: a pointer in the file
- Off: no pointer
- The sitemap file is never replaced
The checkbox is on the same step as the summary and the prompt.
